Lukasz Yoder is a distinguished classical pianist, reality TV star, nightlife promoter, model, and surfer. Bold and dynamic, Lukasz brings “formidable power” and “liquid sensitivity” (Los Angeles Opus) to the concert stage. A recent graduate of UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music, he has won several competitions, from the Claudette Sorel International Piano Competition to the International Chopin Competition in Washington D.C., and toured extensively in North America and Europe. His primary mentors include Inna Faliks, the chair of UCLA’s piano department, renowned American pianist Garrick Ohlsson, and his mother, Roza Kostrzewska Yoder, who was Lukasz’s very first piano teacher, and who he considers instrumental to his success in piano and beyond.
Outside of classical music, Lukasz is a celebrated reality TV star, nightlife promoter, fashion model, and avid surfer. He has appeared on Season 2 of HBO’s ‘FBOY Island,’ as well as Polish radio and television, and is represented by Otto Models. He also surfs as much as possible, having tackled twelve foot waves in Manhattan Beach, cracked three surfboards, and spotted several stingrays, turtles, and dolphins.
